Amíg én a családommal kicsit utazgattam Szlovéniában, Robyn és Paul besétált a Szimpla Háztáji Boltocskába és eképpen szólt.
“Hi. Most jöttünk meg éppen Francia országból ezzel a két Tern folding (összecsomagolható) bicókával. Hallottuk, hogy van itt egy bolt aki adományoz bringákat rászorulóknak és szeretnénk itthagyni a részükre.” Miután Dénes megnézte a bicajokat és összeszedte az állát a földről, megajándékozta a párt egy egy Budapestes sapkával. A két bringa összértéke 600.000 Ft.
Nehéz magamhoz térni egy ilyen adományozás után. Mit is mondhatnék. Köszönjük!
“My husband Paul, and I are from Melbourne Australia. We have just cycled for 6 weeks across Europe from The Atlantic coast of France to Budapest, approximately 3000km along the Eurovelo 6 trail. We cycled all this way on our Tern folding bikes which we purchased new in Paris. The trip was very memorable and our bikes made it all the way with no issues. On reaching Budapest our hope was that our bikes continue to provide joy to someone else who couldn’t afford to purchase a bike themselves.
So we ‘googled’ options for bike donation in Budapest and found your fabulous small organisation that repurposes used bikes for those in need. We popped into the Szimpla cafe once we reached Budapest to see if this would be s suitable home for our bikes and agreed this would be.
